Frederick C Timbrell

Frederick Timbrell was 24 and working as a farm labourer when he married Gertrude Alice Smith at Tewkesbury Register Office on May 19th 1913. The family moved to Cradley and Frederick was later enlisted into the Veterinary Corps.

 

On June 1919 the his unit was in Bonn, Germany. The War Diary notes that Fred Timbrell was admitted to a Field Ambulance there on June 21st before being moved to a Casualty Clearing Station, where he died on Saturday, July 5th 1919 from Bright’s Disease (Nephritis). He was 32 years of age.
