Welcome to St Peter's Cradley!

A very warm welcome to St Peter’s Cradley!

We are a Christian community, in the Anglican (CofE) tradition, seeking to love God and love our neighbour, as we journey together with God in Cradley.

St Peter's has been a place of prayer, a sign of God’s presence, here since 1789.

The Church is is now open for services on Sundays at 9.30am.

Private Prayer before or after and 8.30am to 9.30/10am Wednesdays.

All are welcome.

Worship continues to be provided daily in Halas:

Morning Prayer at 7.30am, 8.30am and Evening Prayer 5pm daily.

A Thought for the Week will be available each Wednesday.

If anyone is in need of help with shopping or medicine pick ups or other essential errands, please do contact your Vicar. We have teams of people available to help.

A Heritage Clock for Cradley!
Just a Minute
The Clock Dial from St Luke's Reddal Hill in Cradley Heath was salvaged and needs repairing.  It will cost about £8,000 to install with additional costs for lighting and chimes.
Would you like to sponsor a Minute for £10 and write in no more than 100 words why this minute is important to you.

St Peter’s Church in Cradley is inviting the community to join in making knitted poppies to create a cascade of poppies from the top of the tower of St Peter’s to the front door. We hope that it will be visible to the whole of Cradley and Cradley Heath.

It promises to be a spectacular visual display to commemorate Remembrance 2020.

We have worked out that it takes seventy knitted poppies to create a metre of cascade, so we need a lot more to be knitted between now and November.

The completed poppies can be handed in at      St Peter’s Cradley in due course. A box labelled “knitted poppies” will be placed in the church porch which is open during daylight hours so that they can be dropped off at a convenient time.

So, dust off your knitting needles, find some red and black wool - this is a brilliant time to be knitting!  Don’t be bored, KNIT!

Click the buttons below to download two different knitting patterns to make your poppies - enjoy knitting!
